MY PROFILE

Akande Akin Sanyaolu is an indigene of Oyo State. He hails from Ode Aje Alase in Ibadan Northeast Local Government Area. He is the son of Apostle Gabriel Akande and Prophetess Florence Ajini Akande.

He had his early school in Lagos. Tokunbo Alli Primary School and Opebi Grammar School, all in Ikeja. He was the Agricultural prefect of Opebi Grammar School in his days. he proceeded to the University of Ibadan for his first degree to study Agricultural Economics and during those years between 2004/05 academic session and 2009/10 academic session, he was responsible at different leadership position.

In 2007 , Akande Akin was the general secretary of his hostel,Tedder Hall, University of Ibadan. By 2008,he was elected as the chairman of the hostel and also was elected as the welfare secretary of the student's union transition committee,University of Ibadan. By 2009,he was elected again as the Chairman of his hostel and amongst different faculty presidents and hostel chairmen and chairpersons, he was elected as the chairman, students union transition committee of the University of Ibadan.

Under his leadership, several developmental project were put in place at hostel level and at the Union level. He was the last transition committee Chairman in University of Ibadan after a 10-years suspension of a substantive Student's Union body. He used his tenure to ensure that peace was brocaded in the University and the substantive students union Executive was reinstated in the next year, 2011,a year after he left office. He revitalised the office of the NANS in Unibadan and conducted two conventions (oyo jcc and southwest zone-D) in 2010. A fit that paved way for a rebirth student's Union. He also did a lot of projects for the uplift of his hostel amongst which are the expansion of the financial base of the hostel to facilitate for capital projects and conducted meaningful lectures and seminars to build knowledge base of his colleagues politically and socially. Till date,the records are there as testimony.

Akande had short period experience in the human resource field as a consultant and business development officer in Kainos Edge Consulting, Lagos where he rose to the position of the Personal Assistance to the Managing Director in less than a year. Because of his passion for agriculture, in 2012, he setup his company, Boldan Agro ventures. The company is into general agriculture and consultancy and it's being 6years of success so far as the CEO/Principal Consultant.

He is also a principal consultant of Batfarms and Agro allied limited in Lagos, jointly owned by two other person's with him as directors. He is the chief operating officer/senior consultant at Tofem Farms in Ibadan. He has contributed immensely to the growth of agricultural businesses in Oyo State and has impacted positively in many lives that come across him. Akande is the president of ACCO foundation, a NGO that contribute to knowledge through educational support to indigent children in oyo state. He was once the Vice President of the Yoruba youth Council,YYC, oyo state chapter.

Akande is a certified project manager, certified blogger and web designer with karlrox Nigeria and Alison International,an online knowledge pool. He's a social crusader and a political pundits with passion for service to humanity. A senior fellow of Kegite club, National Headquarters, University of Ibadan and devoted member of People for Democratic Change,PDC in Oyo State.

He holds a masters degree in Agriculture and applied economics from the University of Ibadan and he's happily married with wife and children.
