Akande Akin Sanyaolu Before the University of Ibadan minimum stipulated 3.5 cgpa for one to be involved in politics as a student, the institution had produced thousands of Dino Melaye who contributed into the collapse of the students union, destabilization of the institution calendar, perpetration of cult activities and waste of innocent lives on campus whilst hiding under aluta continua victoria aserta for  their selfiah gain and till date,many of them are contributing to political destruction in Nigeria. Let me use myself as an example: after my 100level,I was on 3.3cgpa and was not allowed to participate in faculty politics because the university stipulated only minimum 3.5cgpa. I was also screened out by the students affairs division from participating in my hostel politics but on recommendation of the warden, I was given an approval based on my service to the hall which was known by all and sundry.
