This is not to show that the students were right in their agitations as agitation is not a new thing on campus but to show that the VC had all the opportunity of nibbling the situation in the bud before it got aggravated. I want to start by saying that the primary reason for the existence of government is the welfare of the people in terms of education, security of lives, provision of basic amenities, shelter and clothing if possible to the core poor and every other thing is secondary. No government that tries making primary duty secondary and secondary duty primary, succeeds.  Of all the primary duties of the government, education is sacrosanct to the liberation of the people and mental empowerment. If it cant be made to be free, it should be made to be affordable as governments success is key to provision of services and not profit making. If the state cannot manage the public schools again, it should humbly give the schools back to their original owners. There are missionary schools among these public schools and during the time of baba awolowo that these people deceitfully claimed to be following, education up to secondary school was totally free and many among them benefitted even on scholarship

Fayose bans cattle grazing in Ekiti, says; “cattle farmers must own ranch” Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has banned grazing and rearing of cattle in the State, saying those interested in cattle farming should get their own private cattle ranch and that a bill to make movement of cattle from one location to another criminal in the State will soon be sent to the State House of Assembly. I believe and hold onto this fact that politics is the conscious and deliberate attempt to participate in the affairs of government either as an independent candidate or under a registered political party with the core aim of achieving a local, state and or national goal by grabbing the opportunity of political power through the vote, consolidation of political power through participatory and all encompassing government and the use of political power for the overall good of the state and the people by determination, commitment, hardwork and sacrificial service to the people and the state. It is not because i went through the nation's appropriation bill and saw the amount budgeted for amnesty programme for militancy in the Niger delta or the NDDC ministry that I wrote this but because I know that there's no sense in blowing up pipelines and causing economic chaos for Nigeria.
