A CLARION CALL TO JOBLESS NIGERIAN GRADUATES STILL ROAMING THE STREETS OF THEIR ALMA MATTER.

A CLARION CALL TO JOBLESS NIGERIAN GRADUATES STILL ROAMING THE STREETS OF THEIR ALMA MATTER.

I understand that the economy of the country so far, has not been palatable and helpful for most graduates to make head way in life. This has been the reason why some have decided to make the idea of following politician around or roaming the streets within University of Ibadan, a job.

Some graduates used their political romance with politicians to secure meaningful job while some use it to secure political appointment. To those set of people that secure a genuine job through political romance or bootlicking, we can term them smart and determined not just to be used by politicians.
Among the smart group of people, some behave foolishly even though they pretend to be classy by fronting political and social agitation plus students/politicians financial negotiation, though they front more for their pocket yet they pretend not to be gaining anything financially. I think its better to start asking these set of people their means of livelihood. Or after 3years of graduation they are still collecting feeding money at home?

In a nutshell, the truth is bitter. If after youth corps service, within a year or two, you failed to secure a job due to economic situation, those two years is enough to startup something for yourself as an entrepreneur no matter how small instead of being a political jobber. Its not enough to stay put in your alma matter salivating on awoof money from politicians. If you dont know, you are corrupting the mind of those young ones still in school as undergraduate. You are setting wrong impression. Go out there and make meaning for yourself out of the bad economy we have all found ourselves. Its not difficult. Many have done it. I have done it and i believe you can do it too.

The labour market is big enough for everyone of us to be successful and not become economic and/or political nuisance hiding under the guise of classy graduate. You are nothing but a disgraced University of Ibadan graduate if after service you still came back on campus claiming to be a negotiator between students and politicians and other financial donors.

What is bad is bad, theres no other name for it.

Come outside of your shell and live a meaningful life.

Get a job or create one!!! Its not so difficult as many people painted it.

God bless the University of Ibadan!
God bless Uites!
God bless the Federal Government of Nigeria!
