IF I WERE BUHARI

let me start by saying I had been wrong in some assertions bothering on the need to get the presidents office renovated. I succumb to my conscience nag against my thinking and I accept that, if I were buhari, I should have been dead by now. May Buhari's life be prolonged in Jesus name.

After careful underground findings through readings of different public take on the perceived utter public disrespect exhibited by the presidency, I found out that a lot on buharis health was bound to be hidden from us for security reasons. It goes beyond being open to the populace as a public figure. It's a pity, many in the presidency are more desperate than the president himself for power.

Personally, I believed that the president had been spiritually and physically attacked and bartered but God had speared his life for a purpose.

I do not want to name names but when I juxtaposed claims of some personalities and clergy men in the society, I kind of wondered that the presidential security details had long being compromised and or infiltrated.

Coming to terms with some facts at this time reawaken my consciousness that if I were buhari, I wouldn't be having meetings in an already chilled conference room again. If I were buhari, I would ensured that the office renovation took place in my presence. If I were buhari I may end up not using the presidential office again. If I were buhari, I may end up having my own personal pocket microphone. If I were buhari, I may end up using an office without air-condition system and my secretary would be sitting very close to me. If I were buhari I might have quickly resigned immediately I came back from medical vacation because of fear of getting killed. Now, I know Buhari loves Nigeria but he is not perfect. His imperfection, human feeling towards some class of people cum sentiment is robbing us off good governance.

Buhari meant well but his government had been captured from him. My initial criticism were sincerely based on love for my nation and the need for buhari to go and rest but now I know that his condition got worsened not because of old age but because of the desperation of some heartless people. He's their nightmare and must be there.

I won't seize to always say that this government is a failure because my findings had shown that if buhari could easily be harmed, our economy and all of us have all been harmed. It's becoming so clear that the president needs our support as our regrets in supporting this government didn't come from the imperfection of buhari alone but some desperate and wicked elements who are enemies of Nigeria.

If I were buhari, knowing these things by the desperadoes, I will never resign for the sake of Nigeria and many generations to come. Albeit all these, it doesn't mean that buhari is a saint.
